Athen Kassel ride, his organizers and we rode through the most beautiful part of Balkans as mentioned in ZEIT magazine: 20. May: Serbia, from Kamenica to Rudnik and then over Divcibar and Povlen “Sumadija” is one of the most stunning regions Balkans have to offer. Between picturesque mountains are dense deciduous forests and valleys with meadows and fruit trees.
In hamlet of gornja Crnuca, in spring of 1815. Milos Obrenovic of the resistance movement said he raised rebel flag which triggering the final successful second Serbian uprising. Obrenovic wanted his land back from Ottomans, which is understandable when the land is as beautiful as this one.
